ASIC Design Manager (San Jose, California)
The chosen candidate will lead a team of Digital Design Engineers working closely with Analog Design Engineers developing next generation bio-sensor SoCs. The ideal candidate must be highly technically hands on and involved with day to day digital development, from concept through design, directing the layout, verification and test. This candidate will be actively involved in growing and leading the digital team and working with architect to determine the best architecture for each product. This position will design and implement digital functions within mixed signal ASICs. This position will do both front to back (RTL, synthesis, verification, mixed mode simulation with the analog functions, and test support) in bio-sensor mixed ASICs.
As the lead of the digital design team, work at all levels of design including collaborating with system engineer to analyze implementation tradeoffs and generate detailed specifications, working independently to propose logic/memory architecture & implementations, doing sub-block & top level design and simulation, overseeing P & R, performing timing closure, DFT insertion and bench-tests in silicon. Backend knowledge is also preferred. Other responsibilities include:
- Perform EDA tools installation, foundry design kit setup
- Interface with IP vendors & foundry suppliers to evaluate IP blocks and process technology
- Assist verification team to design PCB board for chip testing
- Assist in development of production test
Education Requirements: Master or Ph.D.
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years digital CMOS design experience in an industrial environment, covering as many as possible of the following areas:
- Embedded processor technologies such as 8051, ARM cores, clocking system and power management,
- Embedded 1T/6T SRAM and NVM technology,
- Embedded DSP block design experience,
- Low power management,
- Design for test, scan insertion, ATPG, and Functional Test Vectors.
- Experience with Cadence design environment or similar CAD tools in Unix/Linux.
- Good knowledge of ESD and latch-up prevention.
- Experience of successful multiple tape outs and mass production support.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable in a startup environment.
- Backend experience.

Field Application Engineer (San Jose, California)
Support key customer accounts from first out-of-box experience to customer product mass production. Provide expert technical support for sales account customers by closely monitoring the technical experience of partners and/or key accounts. A qualified candidate must have a BSEE, CS or related field with 2+ years of professional experience developing or supporting electrical or computer based consumer products, good communication and people skill, a quick learner, and an excellent problem solver.
Senior Application Engineer (San Jose, California)
The position involves frequent creative opportunities to design and experiment with new, experimental prototype applications and algorithms, involving both hardware and software, which may evolve into new company projects or product lines. Applicant must be capable of both high level design and low level implementation in order to bring concepts to at least prototype stages.
The position also involves planning and designing the lower-level communication protocols, drivers, firmware, and higher-level API implementations for a wide array of projects and end-user products. Applicant must demonstrate experience in designing and implementing the code for scalable, extensible, and maintainable cross-platform and cross-product interfaces and standards that can be used to support both R&D efforts within the company and worldwide partner/customer development efforts outside of the company.
The position will require constant and extensive interaction with project managers, hardware designers, software programmers, manufacturing, partners and customers, so exceptional communication skills, both written and oral, are a must. Applicant must also demonstrate strong organizational skills, foresight, and attention to detail.
Application Engineer (San Jose, California)
Develop from concept to implementation to documentation of customer oriented designs in PCB, firmware, software, and systems. A qualified candidate must have a BSEE, CS or related field with 2+ years of professional experience in hardware, firmware or software design.
Algorithm Development Engineer (San Jose, California)
Runs experiments using EEG devices and other biosensors, and developing algorithms and classifiers based on analysis of the recorded data. A qualified candidate must have Ph. D. in signal processing or related areas, experience with various classifiers and machine learning techniques, experiment design and analysis, typical EEG signals and artifacts.
Circuit Design Engineer (San Jose, California)
Design PCB based bio sensors to implement new human-computer interaction product ideas. A qualified candidate must have a master of EE or equivalent, with 3-5 years of experience with analog or mixed signal PCB design, especially in sensor signal conditioning circuits, knowledge of embedded programming and bench top circuit testing.
Principle Analog ASIC Engineer (San Jose, California)
Leads analog design team from concept to product including system architecture and specification design, circuit and transistor level design and verification, circuit layout, physical extraction and verification, silicon bench testing, and production test development. A qualified candidate must have a EE degree with 10 years of hands-on analog or mixed signal circuit design experience, with at least 5 years in a design leadership position.
Planning and Logistics Lead (Hong Kong)
Primary responsibilities included the following areas:
- Demand/Supply Planning
- Develop product planning strategy and processes to provide products to customers within current lead time, avoiding delinquencies, while maintaining inventory goals
- Assign schedule dates, assess on-time delivery, provide contingency planning and escalate/resolve issues
- Drive S&OP planning with Sales and Marketing to rationalize forecasts and develop a build plan
- Work with contract manufacturers and suppliers on planning and executing material deliveries, production and product shipments
- Develop metrics and reporting for all aspects of on-time delivery
- Logistics and Distribution
- Develop and implement logistics strategy and processes to maximize compliance with customer needs within budget constraints
- Analyze, recommend, manage and report on logistics footprint, transportation and freight costs as well as appropriate routing and carriers to be used
- Identify new transportation opportunities and services
- Manage and track all aspects of 3rd party warehousing and fulfillment services
- Perform the coordination and monitoring of all inbound and outbound shipments, including the detailed packing and tracking

Responsibilities
- Sourcing and Procurement
- Develop and execute internal sourcing and procurement processes for direct and indirect spend requirements
- Work with product engineering and manufacturing to select components and transformation services that meet quality, delivery and cost requirements
- Lead supplier selection by driving RFQ/RFP process, qualifying suppliers and negotiating contracts/pricing

New Media Designer (San Jose, California)
The new media designer will help the design team shape every aspect of NeuroSky’s visual identity through a solid understanding of both print and interactive design; from refining the leading in body copy to conceptualizing and producing graphically rich, emotionally compelling campaigns over print and web. The position will work with our small multi-disciplinary design team and marketing to produce high quality graphic content for all products and programs ranging from print collateral, product packaging, Web UI, event graphics and overall corporate look and feel. In addition, the new media designer is responsible for the development and maintenance of brand standards and style guides. He/She would help in managing the production process for all graphic brand assets, ensuring the consistency of visual brand expression in all external communications, and across all marketing vehicles (print, web, packaging, events, etc.)
Experience Requirements:
- 0-2 years experience
- High proficiency with Adobe Photoshop Illustrator, Indesign and After Effects (Flash a plus)
- Motion Graphics experience (knowledge of Maya, Cinema 4D, or other 3D modeling/animation software a huge plus)
- Experience with designing for web (knowledge of at least basic web coding constraints on a conceptual level. HTML, CSS, PHP, etc.)
